Small interfering RNA (siRNA) is typically a short double-stranded RNA composed of base pairs. Through the RNAi mechanism, it achieves post-transcriptional specific silencing of pathogenic target gene mRNA, thereby enabling precise treatment of diseases. siRNA drugs can precisely target pathogenic genes while offering advantages such as low risk of drug resistance and long-lasting efficacy.
